My Top 3 Favorite Pet Books – A Review by Pebbles the Blind Cat

Pebbles the Blind Cat loves pet books

If you’re gonna read, there’s only one way to go: pet books! From funny to uplifting to downright sad, there are so many to chose from. I picked just three of the many, many wonderful books out there. Because these three books aren’t just a casual way to pass the time. They all mean something to me. Somehow I feel connected to each of these books in special sort of way.

Your Pet Has Fleas! Why even one flea is a problem and what to do about it

Fleas in Pets

In Diaries of a Veterinarian, my human mom, Dr. Dunn, discusses life as a vet, gives vet tips, and discusses all things vet related as a guest on my blog.

Nothing has the potential to create more stress and frustration in the life of a pet owner than this one little word: fleas. These tiny blood-sucking parasites are not only gross, but they can be the source of a lot of (unnecessary) discomfort for pets and owners alike. What’s worse, even one flea bite can be the source of some more serious medical conditions. But, never fear! With diligence and consistency, even the most infested pet can once again live a happy, bug-free life.

Pawty Time! Pebbles the Blind Cat Throws a Wild Pawty!

Pebbles the Blind Cat throws a box pawty
No pawty is complete without a box!

Mom and Dad went out of town last weekend, so you know what that means… Pawty time! My brofurs, sisfurs, and I typically look forward to Saturdays (aka Caturdays) because Mom and Dad are expected to be home to serve us. However, sometimes they have “plans” away from home (as if something could possibly be more important than us). And they have the audacity to leave us.

This clearly unacceptable behavior has occurred far too often. This Saturday was the last straw. Therefore, the fur siblings and I decided it was time we took matters into our own paws. We decided to throw an epic house pawty!

Ten Things Only Dog People Will Understand

Linnie the Border Collie Dachshund

Dog People. Sigh. I suppose every human has to have some kind of weakness. Well, since I share my home with canine fur siblings, this is something I have experience with. And while I may be a little biased towards cat people, I certainly can appreciate those who choose to share their lives with the crazy creatures known as dogs. So here is my list of ten things only dog people will understand.

Ten Things Only Cat People Will Understand

Cat People understand things others don't

To understand cat people there are only a couple of things you need to know. First, yes, they are a little crazy, and, yes, they fully embrace it. Second, they are passionate about their felines, to put it mildly. They may jokingly complain about all the havoc their furry companion wreaks on a daily basis. But if you even think about saying anything sincerely negative about any cat that has ever lived, prepare for a firestorm of crazy to be unleashed upon your head, the force of which you can’t even imagine. You’ve been warned.

Being in the “cat people” club is considered an honor by all who are admitted (by feline standards, of course). And it is indeed a club. You can go to the farthest corners of the planet, not knowing a living soul. If you happen upon a fellow feline fanatic, there is an instant bond that outsiders just can’t understand. So in order to reinforce those bonds (and give the crazy cat people something to talk about), here are ten things that only cat people will understand.
