It’s officially the Christmas Season! I am so excited for my first full Christmas as an adult cat. There’s food, family, new outfits. There’s even a tree in the house to climb with boxes underneath wrapped in easily shreddable paper! And, of course, there’s Santa Paws.
What, you’ve never heard of Santa 
When I think about the Holidays a purr swells in my throat. Without question, it’s the best time of year. There’s the family thing, sure. But hello! There’s presents, new smells, Santa Paws, trees in the house. And food. Lots and lots of delectable, tasty, mouth-watering food!
Happy birthday to me! As of November 10th 2017, I am officially one year old. And what a year it has been. This time last year I was homeless and sick, and look at me now!
A birthday is a great time to reflect on our accomplishments and progress. In thinking back over the past year of my life I came up with ten very valuable life lessons we should all apply in our lives.
Introducing cats – the very thought makes my ears go back and my tail puff out like cotton candy at the county fair. Of course we felines are sweet and loving. To our humans. And sometimes our close housemates. But we also invented the phrase “stranger danger”. People often think of dogs as the most territorial animal. Please! Any respectable feline makes even the most territorial dog look like the kindergarten welcoming committee.
